Wonder what Karen would say with a response like, "Sometimes you have to kill your people to protect your dictatorship." *wink*

and have them slaving over ironing boards all day? My Administration has considered the BAREFOOT AND PREGNANT OPTION, and we are in full agreement with your Irony Proposal. It's a great plan for the Little Ladies of the World." - Geroge W. Bush

21. The "bless her heart" thing is reserved for good intentioned but |
|
clueless people. Doesn't apply to Bush gang, I've seen nothing that indicates any good intentions. I honestly feel so depressed and cynical some days I wish someone would point out something positive this crew has accomplished. Well, something good for folks other than rich cronies and Halliburton. I repeat myself. Sorry.

18. I'm not surprised.......... |
|
.........that she's getting this kind of reception. They have ridiculous policies and no amount of justifications can gloss over that!
I saw a clip where she was holding something that looked like a key chain and she said something about it was a gift to them from Texas and DC. When I saw that, I thought........you gotta be kidding!! You think giving them a little trinket like that is going to make a difference?
It's like after hurricane Katrina, Anderson Cooper said 'these people want real answers and right now, they're not getting them'.
The same could be said for the Middle East. They're not interested in trinkets or justifications, they want to know how we are going to improve a badly bungled situation in the Middle East!! And no amount of justifications can improve that without the correct actions.

|
Our own public dialogue has been so dumbed down that newspeak slogans like that hardly raise an eyebrow these days. I've noticed they're openly scoffed at in Europe, as they should be. What was the response in Turkey?
