WORST paraphrase of "First they came" quote EVER:
Edited on Thu Sep-29-05 12:02 PM by BloodyWilliam
To: Motherbear

When they came for Karl Rove, I said nothing because I didn't care

When they came for Bill Frist, I said nothing because I thought he was weak

When they came for Tom Delay, I said nothing because I thought he spent to much.

When they came after Bush, I said nothing because I didn't really like John Roberts.

When they came after me, the only people left to talk were Maxine Waters, Nancy Pelosi, John Conyers, Barney Frank, and Charlie Rangel. That is your leadership of the Democrats in the House and who would be running things if the GOP loses the House.

2. The grammar/spelling I can ignore. But... uh...
Okay, that's one of the most famous quotes regarding the Holocaust ever, and... they're using it to whine about Delay being indicted? Wow.

16. How 'bout paraphrasing DeLay's news conference
I have a dream that little Republican boys and little Republican girls may one day collect all the money they want from anyone they want to run for office. I have a dream...

Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the cash...

10. Actually, for jbwbubba
The worst thing that you could imagine will happen: No one will "come after you," because you're not important. You will be forced to live out your days working for a living, taking care of your family, and enjoying the peace and prosperity of your labors under a Democratic regime. Bwahahahahahaha!!!

Will jbwbubba disappear when there's no one for him to hate?

13. beautiful - and exactly on the mark
On their site they associate themselves with great power or with having powerful enemies, which of course makes them so-o-ooo important, bulletproof, invisible, and occasionally fluent in a number of unspecified languages.

On this site, when they eventually make it into the hate mailbag, they claim to have an inside to DHS or the CIA or the FBI to have DU shut down.

They love to claim allegiance to the "almighty" and the all powerful and to jesus, and the president, and anyone else they think of as powerful and as spiteful as they themselves are. They make god in their own image, not the other way around, and have for centuries.

Pathetic little freepers - they're kind of like New Orleans mold though, and they'll keep coming back no matter how much bleach you use until they've completely rotted out their lives.

11. Wow, doesn't care about Rove, thinks Frist is weak, Delay spends
too much, and doesn't like Roberts. But the visceral hatred of Democrats overcomes all that.

Edited on Thu Sep-29-05 12:25 PM by Feles Mala
"It is rather for us the living, we here be dedicated to the great task remaining before us--that from these honored indicted we take increased devotion to that cause for which they here gave the last full measure of their bank accounts--that we here highly resolve that these indicted shall not rot in jail in vain, that this nation shall have a new birth of presidential pardons, and that government of the rich, by the rich, and for the rich shall not perish from the earth."
