Avian flu pandemic....
Anyone listening to the discussion in the Senate right now?

Am I getting paranoid, or does it feel like the wealthy of this nation are actively trying to kill off lower income people? Given the voracity with which they have been shredding the safety net and the continued disregard for the death and destruction of the war as well as the lack of concern around Katrina/Rita, it sure is feeling that way to me.

1. It's a Republican Congress
This is what they've been doing for the past five years, and before, and this is what they do.

3. If i put on my tin foil hat
then i would say that the world can only handle about 2-4 million people.
so the rich want to have just a small population of workers(slaves) to make them money and or take care of their needs.

so basically ya they are trying to get rid of the poorer population.

:tinfoilhat:

but it does sound kind of crazy.

8. but no crazier that what we KNOW they've done
Edited on Thu Sep-29-05 01:09 PM by whatever4
All we ever didn't understand was why. We know they've done all sorts of insane stuff, and invading Iraq is just one, which has killed and injured we'll never know how many.

's crazy. But they ARE crazy. Certifiable. Unable to determine the difference between legal "right" and "wrong", because these people (if they can be called people) actually believe they're right.

Sure, they spit on the poor, they see the poor as a drain on resources, and care for most of us no more than those in New Orleans. That's really how these monsters see human beings, you're either a resource or a drain. But I'm preachin' to the choir again.

The latest and greatest flu that has been predicted to run around the world in a year or two, maybe be as bad as the pandemic of, what, 1918? I imagine they're looking forward to it. They're informed. They know it's going to happen. They know more about it than we do. They aren't "worried" at all.

Remember the Romans, and the feeding to the lions, the gladiators, the crusades and the Spanish Inquisition and witch hunts? Violence, human suffering...it's all entertainment to thse types. Remember? Entertainment. Sheer fun. Funny to watch people squirm. THAT is what we're dealing with. Yeah, it's crazy, to want a lot of people to die. But it's happened before. And if ANY government is capable of sinking to those levels...BushCo is it.

They're certainly crazy enough to want to kill off a few million people. And, they'll probably find a way to profit from it too.

Look at it this way, some of them are probably already planning their business plans for it. That's really what I think. I think they're easily crazy enough to LIHOP a flu that wipes out millions. Millions of Americans.

And again, they'll say, but gee how could we have known?

while they buy up stock in medications, hospitals, and caskets.

4. yeah
it figures they wouldn't want any national healthcare if they would rather have people die anyway.

It wouldn't surprise to see Avian Flu shots that cost $1000 - so just people who had the money could get them - just like you needed a vehicle to get out of New Orleans. :eyes:

6. They've only got about 2 million doses. Most won't ever be vaccinated
for any amount of money.

Stock up on face-masks and rubber gloves. And soap. Lots of soap.

9. I don't think you're paranoid...
I have thought the same for a while and had my fears re-enforced when I recently heard the Rs mention that, yes, indeed, we need to revisit the budget due to the hurricanes' cost, so we will need to look at cutting entitlements even more than we originally thought. How very caring. AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! God forbid that you don't extend the tax cuts for the wealthy. In my eyes, this false administration is guilty of economic genocide resulting from the illegal war and their irresponsible legislation and actions/inactions.

Peace...

10. I doubt it
If there is a pandemic, thety would be just as susceptable as anyone else. Once a cat like that is let out of the bag, these viruses can mutate beyond the ability to vaccinces to protect them.

Plus I have more faith in people than you do i guess. As bad as many of the elite are in some ways, I don't think most of them really want to see millions die.

12. worked very well in New Orleans
Edited on Thu Sep-29-05 01:33 PM by CountAllVotes
and still we don't know how many have died and that is because they do not want us to know. Many were elderly and disabled that died; probably most on social security.

The pandemic - once it hits, all of those using these immune suppressing drugs for various serious health conditions will be the first to die and as it is right now, they have no immune system for they are killing it with drugs that cost thousands of dollars a month. Chemotherapy? uh huh ...... :grr:

Will they even bother to tell high risk persons about this? I kind of doubt it. A good way to purge the "list" of recipients even further and a highly effective way to do it at that.

God damn these people.

God damn them.

:kick:

13. It certainly would fit into the history of Edwin Black's book
"War Against the Weak". It also dovetails with bushies grandfather's activities. I would say that it is not "the rich" who are behind any move like this - more likely it would be the children and grandchildren and followers of this history (rich or poor) who fell for papa's lies.
