Most of them?

How many even know that many of their constituents are signing petitions for it?

If today was a CHECK.
The next vote for SC better be an ALL-IN for DEMS.

(sorry for the poker talk - too much free on-line TX hold-em)

1. All of them
Once they become a Senator, they are members of an exclusive club which gives them the right to marginalize what us "little people" think ...

3. I just email Max Baucus (D-MT) and asked for a detailed reason, as well as
a commitment to hold the next nominee to a higher standard - ANY progressive standard!

5. I am sure what you will get is
"I am committed to fairness in the government. Unfortunately my office cannot answer all e-mails." AKA

"I am far too busy to ever get back with you on this. I have the corporate teet off which to suckle, a Resident of the US to fellate, KKKarl to appease, and three whiny ineffective media appearences to reinforce the notion that Dems are worthless."

4. I agree with "all of them"
In my experience, Senators all see themselves as part of a very exclusive "Royal family". Unlike the House, there is a great deal of collegiality and they hate to "rock the boat".
