that there are at least 25 unregistered lurkers for every registered member, maybe more. That adds up to much eye-opening going on here. There were less than 60k registered when I first found this incredible site last November. Woo-hoo. Yay DU!

15. I lurked for quite some time

before I felt the need to actually join. Mostly because by the time I got there, anything that could be commented on an article usually already had been said. :)

16. Yes, I agree. A lot of us signed on in November. There was a moratorium

on new members for a while, and then when the registration opened up again in November, hundreds of us flooded in. It's still the best place for information and discussion, warts and all. (And some of the warts are people ;) )
