I'm noticing that conservatives and republicans are becoming more open and brazen with their racist comments with Bill Bennett being the most recent example. Bennett apparentlt thinks that because he made the comment on his talk radio show in response to a listener's comment that he was intellectually engaging in a "thought experiement".

Well, it may have been more like a "thoughtless experiment", although the way Bennett brought in race when the caller's question had no reference to race was in my opinion manipulative, arrogant and opprtunistic on Bennett's part as a way of appealing to certain segments of his listening audience with inflamitory and bigotted generalizations about African-Americans.

I know, you know, Bill Bennett knows, everybody knows he wasn't advocating abortion at all. Not on black babies, not on anyone. And no one is outraged over that, because it is agreed by all to be too far-fetched to be the least bit legitamate. His racism, his sick, sick mind were revealed when he equated such a thing with some potential benefit, based soley on prejudice and stereotypes.
