Lifestyles of the Liberal and Powerless (Rall)
He turned out to be WAY off on Pat Tillman (along with many of us), but this one os right on the money.

1. how so on Tillman?
Rall called the Tillman episode from his own opinion. What was so "WAY" off about that anyway?
We now all know that Tillman volunteered for a cause that rally wasn't there to begin with. I think it involves "fighting terrorists over there so we don't have to fight them here".
That Tillman volunteered is to his credit; presumably he was doing what he believed in - but it doesn't make it right.
Tillman was tragically killed by his own troops. The administration tried their damnedest to whitewash that fact. So what was way off?

2. Everyone called the Tillman episode "from their own opinion"
What exactly does that even mean?

Have you seen this?

Interviews also show a side of Pat Tillman not widely known — a fiercely independent thinker who enlisted, fought and died in service to his country yet was critical of President Bush and opposed the war in Iraq, where he served a tour of duty. He was an avid reader whose interests ranged from history books on World War II and Winston Churchill to works of leftist Noam Chomsky, a favorite author.

Rall put this out shortly after Tillman's death.

3. That is so funny - so you do have cameras and mikes in my house!
Although I'm always the one saying saying, "This is it! They can't get away with this one! This makes Watergate look like a pantie raid!"

And my husband makes sympathetic little clucking noises, gives me hot milk and puts me to bed.

4. Same in my house
I'm the one saying "this time we've got 'em! If this doesn't wake up the American people, nothing will! Rant! Rave!" while my wife nods quietly with a knowing smile on her face.
