2. Not sure how many died when white Christian terrorists struck in |
|
Oklahoma but it was way too many. I blame that one directly on the hate fueled by the GOP through the likes of Rush and Boortz and Savage and Coulter and well you get the point.

I don't get why everyone always has to play the defense side of the 'blame clinton for everything under the sun' game. What does it matter? They're going to keep making ridiculous remarks about the man for ages to come, because their warped sense of morality still can't handle the fact he was president. We shouldn't fall into the bullshit partisan game - what matters now is that bush is slowly destroying the country and the world. Making references to Clinton just allows them to play the game they love so much.

I still have a hard time with that one. Yes, at least a thousand were killed, according to the numbers I've heard.

|
if Clinton's time was not all used up defending himself and being weakened by that scurrilous witch hunt odds are he would have gotten bin Laden and Gore would have won by an even bigger margin. And Al would not have blown off the August 6th 2001 PDB.

|
that caused 50 million Murkans to lose their health insurance
it also caused 20% of the middle class to slide into poverty as 10 million of them lost their jobs
it also caused 9-11
and the war in Iraq
and FEMA's nonresponse to Katrina
and the anthrax attacks and the failed anthrax noninvestigation

12. There should a death count website that traces EVERYTHING involved with * |
|
Number of executions when he was Texas Governor.
Number of suicides/homicides resulting from economic woes (e.g. executives being laid off due to job outsourcing)
Number of suicides/homicides resulting from stress of 2004 Election
Number of deaths resulting from lack of insurance or laws prohibiting going abroad for cheaper meds.
'Not fair,' you say? You want fair? Go to a carnival.

...but I believe in looking at the OPs statement, they were referring to "domestic" deaths. Not that deaths in other countries don't matter, but that a US Presidents FIRST priority is to ensure the safety and security of US citizens first and foremost, and Bush has failed, repeatedly.
Rwanda and "the former Yugoslavia" were horrors and tragedies of the worst order, but the case can, and is often, argued that these were not domestic events...

18. Yes, but one of those was due to |
|
inaction, and the other was an intervention in a slaughter that was already going on. Interestingly, if Clinton had intervened in Rwanda he'd be blamed for the thousands of deaths the intervention caused, and if hadn't intervened in Serbia et al, he would have been blamed for the tens of thousands of deaths there.
Just an analysis, not a judgement.
