That makes it sound like the whole island is in the sea! It has rained and there is some flooding, yes, in some areas more than others. My family lives there and I spoke to my mother a little while ago. She is fine.

in the next 36 hours. that would be the same birth place of both katrina and rita.

6. Wow - I never knew that Puerto Rico was below sea level -
I always thought it was kinda hilly, mountainous even in places. :shrug: Never been there though. You learn something new every day!

7. Puerto Rico is not below
sea level. And you are right. It is very hilly. There are areas that are more prone to flooding when it rains a lot. Other areas, like where my mom lives get minimul flooding.
