SC nom Miers nominated to PROTECT Buschco in future prosecutions?? |
|
Have read the threads here about Miers for SC. Perhaps you legal sleuths could summarize for me:
If she is Bush's personal attorney, can she rule on cases against bush and/or his administration, such cases being crimes similar to ones alleged against the Delay gang, or possibly to be alleged in Plame case related charges?
Or will this woman legally have to recuse herself from any and all cases against the bush administration and its members, including the republican party?

Let's not forget the pending case against Bushco in federal court in Pennsylvania for allowing 9/11 to happen. I can see that going to the Supreme Court over the issue of whether they can be tried while in office. They'll need to have people on the bench like Meiers, Roberts and Scalia who believe in the Gonzales version of the constitution to keep them out of the pokey.

3. couldn't she protect him better by voting than by recusing? |

I really don't follow the logic of these threads suggesting that there is some sinister plot relating to confidential communications between her and the White House? Anyone care to explain?
