The Supernova Analogy...enjoy the implosion!
In the last stages of a star's life, it reaches critical mass and the core collapses in on itself under intense gravity and explodes.

In the last stages..er...the last "throes" of the Bush Administration's life, the layers of crime and corruption have caused it to reach critical mass. Some of the outer layers will begin to eject away (DeLay, Frist, Cheney) as the core heats up.

and then...BANG!

<>

Enjoy the show, do not look directly at the exploding GOP.

1. More like a black hole...
collapsing in on itself until even light can't escape its gravity.

5. "If a magnetar flew past Earth within 100,000 miles
the intense magnetic field of the exotic object would destroy the data on every credit card on the planet."

8. Thats an awesome picture
I've been thinking today, If I could view our planet from far away our politics and struggle would be unnoticed, and looking to the night sky from here, all I feel is breathtaking awareness. Just to have that moment feels like everything to me.
