Since progressive radio is no longer available in my area, I thought I'd turn Rush on to see what he had to say about Miers. He first said that maybe Bush "dropped the ball" (my words not his since I can't remember what exactly was said). Then he said - or it could be a "rope a dope." Funny that just before he said that I was thinking but it could be a "rope a dope" ploy.

I don't know what to think. Either they screwed up or they are trying to get one over on the Democrats. I guess we'll know once she starts rendering opinions.

Since the Bush family wants Jeb in the Whitehouse some day I find it hard to believe that they would risk another "Souter" type appointment. If she does turn out to be another Thomas, I think there are going to be a lot of pissed off Democrats in the future.
