4. Yea. I was susrprised. I thought it was only us at DU that thought that!
I really am surprised that Leno got hold of it! It's either lots of people have noticed the same thing, or Leno reads DU???

5. Probably his writers do
but I can't imagine wussy Leno saying anything so bold if he didn't feel it was safe to do so. Maybe the tipping point is finally here!

6. On the front page of the Globe tabloid for this week

EVERYONE that goes shopping where there are tabloids sold can see his ugly mug.

13. I saw that at the grocery store yesterday, LOL
It's been over 4 years since the tabloids have had the balls to touch Bush. Leno and the tabloids, surely the tide has turned.

7. Leno has stuck his finger out the window and found out

which way the wind is blowing. As for me, I'll always regard him as a shill for the repubs. Letterman has more class in his little finger than Leno will ever have.

10. Jeez, some people are never happy.
Leno has always made Bush jokes (except for a few months after 9/11, like everyone else). Just because he throws in a few Clinton zingers doesn't mean he's Bush's right-hand man.

17. Leno was one of Ahnold's most supportive campaigners

Plus, one his most frequent guests is another big-time shill, Dennis Miller. If you look, you'll find that most of Leno's guests lean more to the right than the left.

21. Yes, and Michael Moore has been on many times.
So has Al Franken. Leno is not bound to present only one side to people. And considering most of Leno's guests are celebrities, it's fair to say that most of his guests lean left.

12. Leno has been doing bush drinking jokes
in his monologue from the time we first started posting about it and he has done it every night since.

15. yep
he originally cited the National Enquirer, now just goes into the drinkin' jokes like its the old hat that it is. Leno follows my local news and I usually see the opening monologue out of sheer laziness.

16. Leno doesn't do these jokes because Letterman does.
It's one of his running bits, like the squirrels in Central Park.

19. the argument that dubya the demigod is drinking again . . .
is just another way of removing from his shoulders the responsibility for all the past five year's fuck-ups . . . ."it wasn't dubya, it was the alcohol."

20. I like Leno....
although he is the comsumate 'flip flopper', he has to be in his line of work. Letterman, Leno, Conan - I don't give a shit, I'll welcome any help to dethroning our Pastor in Chief.
