Tigers Trammell fired. Leyland to be interviewed |

Alan Trammell (a class act) was fired by the Tigers today. His replacement is rumored to be Jim Leyland.
Soon after Alan Trammell was fired Monday morning as manager of the Detroit Tigers, Jim Leyland was en route to the Motor City as the leading candidate to replace him.

You are correct. But I happen to like Trammell. He's classy and a good manager. Hope he catches on with someone.

the Tigers and Pirates are going through revolving doors of good managers.
They just don't have the money to compete.
