The "Savage Nation" is pissed !
Listening to the Michael Savage show for a few minutes on my way home from work tonight, because AAR from Boulder fades out at night, and I was shocked at the venom directed toward George W Bush. "The cowboy hat doesn't fall too far from the hatrack", he said, insinuating that he had let down the conservatives the same way as Poppy Bush did. Why didn't he pick someone that was a proven conservative, Savage asked? Why did he have to pick an unknown that is being praised by Reid and Schumer and who donated to the Al Gore campaign? What more proof do you need, he asked?

This has truly torn apart the conservatives. They brought out Jay Sekulow early this morning to try and calm the anxious herd. Even Limbaugh was questioning the pick. He had Dick Cheney on his show again, to try and quell the opposition from the conservative ranks. Tonight, I see James Dobson on FOX network consoling and reassuring the base that she was indeed a true conservative. What's going on here?

8. Look how they embrace Oliver North and Gordon Liddy.
These right-wing nutcases think it's an honor to break all the rules for the cause.

6. Distraction
If there is one thing the Bush adminstration does well it would have to be distractions. There is something coming down the pipe that the adminstration doesn't want the conservative base to notice.

7. Michael Savage
Savage calls himself the leader of the conservative movement, when everything which falls from his lips is a movement.

12. Oh bullshit
For God's sake.

The whole "Distraction Theory" of events is so fucking stupid I can't believe it. There is no "distraction." There is nothing hidden.

Jesus, that's dumb.

11. Savage is a sick, twisted, angry, impotent old man
He tries to rip everyone a new one. He thrives on hatred. That's what happens when you get old and you realize nobody wants you or sees any relevance in you. Bitter old sack of shit like the rest of those bitter old sacks of shit Neocons.

We're fucked whatever the fools say. The Repukes have ripped this nation to shreds, and they're still rippin.' They could appoint PeeWee Herman to the SCOTUS and nothing would change in my mind.

13. The More We "Like" Her, The More They Hate Her
I give Senator Reid credit for a great manuever...he said nice words about Ms. Meir without endorsing her. It takes the ball and throws it into the Repugnican court and looks like this could be another step toward the party self-destructing. It won't be any of our doing...all their own...and to think Democrats automatically will win and pick up disgruntled Repugnicans without working for it are not reading things right.

As I predicted last weekend, any short of a Janice Rogers Brown or Roy Moore would be considered not "conservative enough" to the hard right. They want a Scalia/Thomas "clone" and feel this is their due...and instead they get an unknown that appears to be far less than what they expected.

Remember, these morons still blame Democrats for Anthony Kennedy, Earl Warren and David Souter. They're scared that boy blunder here (and they know he's inept) is about to do the same thing again. Even if this lady is as fundie as the day is long, this is gonna take one hell of a sales job from a regime that is constantly fighting fires and hasn't had to sell its base.

This is definite  material. Repugnicans are starting to wonder who they are...similar to what happened to Democrats in the 70's and 80's. Soon we'll start hearing the term "real Repugnican"...as the party has no clear path into the future other than lots of messes and scandals.
