Random Thoughts #2: If Delay gets convicted, someone I'm sure.. |
|
Edited on Mon Oct-03-05 11:46 PM by Rosco T.
.. will file a RICO suit on him and his TRMPac...
but since he passed this thru the RNC, wouldn't they be caught in the RICO suit also?
Is it just a dream to see not only BugBoy's property/assets seized, but THE ASSETS OF THE RNC AS WELL?????
(looks at other message posted... heh, great minds think alike)

3. I have no idea how the federal law works, or how the RNC is organized |
|
But I suspect that there will only be one person in the RNC, probably the treasurer, who will face criminal penalty for campaign finance violations on the RNC end. I also suspect that this whole thing was structured so that Delay and his bunch would take the heat, and the RNC end would be protected from conspiracy and laundering charges. They will be the unwitting pawns.
Just a guess. But keep in mind that Delay and the RNC knew exactly what they were doing, and what laws they were breaking, and what the penalties would be if they got caught. Delay is so used to controlling the government in Texas that he never figured he would get caught. The RNC has less hubris, more caution. They will have structured it so that only Delay would go down.
I'd love to be wrong. :-)
