This is the worst press conference I've ever seen
Even by BUSH's standards, this is pathetic.

1. Seriously. Or should I say 'seriesly'
Why do they bother?! It can't possibly help anything from their perspective...

2. "steroids ougtta be banned from baseball"
Um, I think they ARE banned from baseball. Sadly, that answer was one of the better ones.

He was just the one with the best connections and the most money.

15. Especially after junior went to bat for Rafael Palmeiro and
said "I believe him, and I'll stand behind him" as we know Palmeiro has a nose as long as junior's.

4. I'm heavily biased, he annoys me so badly I can't imagine ever
judging a Bush press conference to be good. Objectively, is it really that bad?

8. I try to stay objective
For instance, I thought John Roberts did an excellent job at his confirmation at lying and deceiving. However, this is pathetic. Absolutely pathetic.

14. I also try to stay objective
but in the past I have been absolutely underwhelmed, even repulsed by his press conferences, only to find it widely praised by common consensus. It's like I watched a completely different event. Because of this, I gave up on objectivity when it comes to GWB and his administration.

10. Yes. He mumbles, garbles, induces terror,
and casts blame on everyone but himself. Plus, he is never wrong-with his selections, with his decisions, with just about anything.

11. I thought he really looked like a fool, but what REALLY struck me
was his flat affect. He had no enthusiasm at all.

Listless, clueless, and soon, I hope, JOBLESS.

20. Loaded Question.....
....One reporter quoted a poll saying 85% of Republicans approve of the job he was doing 15% Democrats approve....Come on ..Was that question (as most of them were) pre-arranged or what?

His aim was to reassure the base that Miers was a good nominee.

18. * says he wants his philosophy to continue "20 or 30 years"
after he's out of office.

The mind boggles.

BTW, when he leans forward on the podium he looks like every drunk I've met in a bar who is telling you in liquor-slurred speech what he'd do if he was in charge. The problem with * is that he IS in charge.
