"He's a good, honest, moral, Christian man." Interpreted: Yes, he may look like a used-car salesman and his actions may betray what he says but I believe him because I don't want to admit I was played as a fool.

"He's a good conservative". Interpreted: Yes, he may have the biggest government in the history of the nation and the largest deficits and everything he has done is "anti-conservative" by definition yet they still argue that he is a conservative.

3. I just had a realization...............

It's the low to middle class, racist, conservative yet not hardcore fundamentalists that I wonder about. That is my family. Their life situation has certainly NOT improved over the last five years ~ unlike the rich people and corporations. So, I always wonder what is the attraction....why are they so fiercely loyal to this guy?

I realized that it's that good ole boy, bubba thing he spews. I think people like my family members ~ who despise the "intellectual elite" (whatever the f*ck that really is) ~ LOVE the fact that he's a moron. It validates them somehow!!! They LOVE the fact that the rest of the world thinks he's a bumbling idiot, 'cause they don't like the rest of the world anyway.

However, even they are starting to see that he's destroying the country (forget the world, in their opinion)....but only post-Katrina.
