Perfect stupid job for him

Who said no to him about that job?

I totally blame them for foisting him on this country

This is EXACTLY like the case of Hitler and the Vienna Institute of Arts. If those bastards took him in, there would have been no genocide, and if the MLB took in Bush, there would have been no right wing dictatorship.

Fidel Castro, Cuba would have been better off.

The interesting thing about the MLB Commisionership is that it shows exactly how politically tone deaf Bush can be about something he wants. It's my understand that he wanted the position badly, and thought that his friend, acting Commissioner Bud Selig, was working to get it for him. Selig was actually working to get the permanent position for himself, going to the lengths of "divesting himself" of ownership in the Brewers.
