3. Hmm...must have missed that part of the CONSTITUTION...
I know I didn't miss Article II, Section 4:

Section 4. The President, Vice President and all civil officers of the United States, shall be removed from office on impeachment for, and conviction of, treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors.

4. Hey did you notice he seemed lucid and relatively well spoken
today. He must have taken some meds or something. Oh, I hated everything he said, but he did sound sober. There is just such an amazing difference between the "dumb" persona and the one he showed today. Certain cockiness too.

I still think the press in totally inept in the questions they ask. I would have said that the poverty rate has climbed significantly since you came into office, exactly how do you explain that and exactly when will it turn around?

5. Did anyone notice his excitement ...
over the war, he really does believe he is a war president. Look at how he winds down when talking about social issues. His favorite words: Ownership society how can some one own anything off of $5.15 hr

7. George, the executive branch is seperate from the legislative.
Congress is not supposed to be a pawn of the executive branch. Please George, remember whatever schooling you actually paid attention to.

9. I don't get that idea from watching the Senate
The Senate seems to think it's supposed to be nothing more than a rubber stamp for any initiative or nominee from the White House.

The simple act of demanding a nominee's full record before a committee will consider him seems to be beyond the powers of the Legislative branch to enforce the notion of its equality to the Executive.
