Anyone catch Tweety before the press conference?
Edited on Tue Oct-04-05 01:10 PM by i_c_a_White_Ghost
make a quick stab at Democrats saying "conservatives mind deficits but "i don't think Democrats care about that stuff".

What a joke, was it not under Clinton (a democrat) that we got rid of deficits?

1. Up is Down. How do you even respond to that?
The GOP has controlled the presidency and Congress for five years, and our debt has grown by at least 3 trillion dollars. And yes, under Clinton we had a balanced budget, and were paying *down* the debt.

5. Word is Tweety Is Trying to Expand His Red State Viewership...
Edited on Tue Oct-04-05 01:17 PM by GR
that's why he's so full of shit lately. Last night when Bob Shrum said that during the Miers' hearings we'd learn a lot about the Texas lottery, Tweety opined.."that's so cynical" then a few sentences later he got in a stab at Miers saying that "Is that what Thomas does?" when asked if she would follow the lead of Scalia...

He's pretty much worthless...

7. Republicans love deficits in the modern age.
They can't get enough because they all them to spend all kinds of money on defense, cut taxes, and avoid cutting social programs. National debt? What's that? It's probably just another term for prosperity! Yeehaw! Supply side economics!
