Bush has that look old men get, ie, the collar too big for neck
Edited on Tue Oct-04-05 03:37 PM by Inland
Check out this pic from another thread. See how the collar just hangs around the neck? That more than anything else marks rapid physical deterioration, IMO. He's losing muscle mass and the fat is rearranging.

But I'm sure the practitioners of the black arts that animate Cheney's corpse will keep him working for three hours a day.

7. Remember, Poppy's manhood was held "in trust"
according to the doonesbury strip? Maybe Bush's balls are behind glass, break in case of impeachment.

6. Who knows what the side effects of his drugs are?
Or maybe the stress is getting to him. Who knows?

But imagine how quickly he's deteriorating if HIS tailor can't keep up. I mean, I buy shirts once every two years, but Bush doesn't.

3. He never had much muscle mass to begin with
The hype about his athleticism was always transparent nonsense.

I wonder if he keeps his old dresses somewhere in a closet at the ranch.

His image handlers have always claimed that he pumps iron regularly and that he uses impressive poundages.

23. Exactly
That's why it's always been clear that the image they created for him was nonsense. Not that that stopped his worshipers from believing it.

38. is it possible she's being sarcastic?
I hold out that faint hope (remember that Onion series detailing how intelligent, creative, etc. Bush "really is"?)

Because the alternatives are that she's a suck-up, a really poor judge of human beings (doesn't bode well for her new career) -- or ill-informed to an incredible degree.

9. No, No, No.

That reminded me of two things. First:

You know why Bush wears a tie, right?
To keep the foreskin from popping up over his chin.

And secondly, some rather germain lyrics from a time not so long ago:

No No No (Deep Purple)

Really hate the running really hate the game
Looking at them all I wanna be unborn again
Their suit is getting tighter although they're getting thin
The flies are crawling on their face and trying to get in
People say that we're to blame I say
No no no it's just the game

Must we let them fool us no no no
Have we got our freedom no no no
Is it getting better no no no
Do we love each other no no no
Must we wait forever no no no

Heads are getting stronger bodies getting weak
Looking at them all it feels good to be a freak
Their hands are getting closer they're reaching out so far
The greenies gonna get them make them serve stars
Tell them how it is and they say
No no no we know it all

The washing's getting dirty the air is getting thin
It's all in such a mess that no one knows where to begin
They talk about creating but all they do is kill
They say we're gonna mend it but they never will
Poison in the rain but they say
No no no we ain't to blame

You know, the waistband just below the nipples, and the crotch somewhere just north of the knees...finish off the look with a too-large baseball style golfing cap, sagging socks, and a confused, slightly surly expression (he already has that part down)....

15. I think it is all Presidents
Do you remember what Clinton was looking like for a little while. He looked like hell also, but now he looks fantastic, because he is out of the daily shitstorm that is the White House. But the biggest difference between WJC and GWB is that WJC had to deal with a bullshit impeachment and GWB is just a fucking tool.

18. That "turtle beak" point on his upper lip can be indicative of serious
health decline, also the earlobe creases can signal heart disease.

22. The turtle beak look is common in people who are gravely ill.
It is an anecdotal observation among medical personnel; my personal experience was with my dad in the nursing home shortly before he passed away. Not a documented medical fact, just a common occurrence.

24. could it be loss of muscle tone in the lip, causing the flesh to droop?
My grandfather had it too. By then he wasn't eating much, and was weakening (and getting much thinner). He'd always had false teeth (unlike Bush) as long as I'd known him, but his mouth did appear to change shape, in those last few months.

26. Yes, that is what I observed, the change is there in the last few months.
Not to say it could not happen in other conditions. My Dad had false teeth too, and this was different in that it became pronounced.
Kind of like a "wasting". Your words are "weakening & thinner". But the difference is in the fact of old men who we know are dying, so where does that leave dubya?

30. Don't say that! I have had earlobe creases for a few years, and had
a little heart problem that we figured was due to caffeine, and I eventually checked out normal with a cardiac workup. But it left me a little scared.

Oh well, I have enough to worry about. Ticker is working fine for today.

No, I did not make this up, however I came about this factoid from a Stephen King Book & then looked it up--not based on hard facts, just anecdotal.

On Edit: I have admired your responses to the tularemia scare in that you advise not to panic, yet take symptoms seriously. My postings, however, can be compared to observations like how your fingernails relate to health.

25. A question for those who know exercise issues
He's constantly shown exercising or working out yet he's usually sporting some pounds around the waist and never really looks *fit* if you know what I mean. Sort of scrawny with a bit of a belly and lousy looking muscle tone on his arms and legs where you can see them in various outfits. Not muscular in any way but like a desk jockey.

So, how do you ride and ride and ride and pump iron and all the other shit they claim and still look like my Uncle Bill who does play the occaisional round of golf and likes a beer or two???? Seriously, what is the deal here?

They're having to give him plenty of fabric to cover up his turkey wattles. Next thing you know, he'll be wearing a pearl choker, just like his mama.
