They've had a series of off-the-wall ads which portray people who take advantage of their deal as being astoundingly smart. There's more than a bit of cynicism in them, since the people are portrayed as being able to march in and take charge, even in situations like surgery, simply based on their knowledge of hotels -- and no other qualifications.
In one of them, after a series of incredible adventures (defending someone in court, bringing in an invention so astounding that even the Patent Office clerk is impressed) -- a guy is seen in the Oval Office, sitting in Bush's chair (as if!), saying (over an adding machine) "Deficit's gone, Mr. President." A presidential impersonator (okay, make that a presidential-impersonator impersonator), seen from behind, is asking which firm of accountants he's from. The guy says, "I'm not an accountant" (the Secret Service agents look alarmed at this) -- "but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night".
I think someone else drew Mike Brown as confessing that he had no emergency planning skills, but that he had also stayed in that hotel.

... watch much TV.
It's a play on the current Holiday Inn express commercials where a person is mistaken for some highly trained profession like a scientist, lawyer etc. They get addressed by the title and go.. " Oh I'm not a , but I did stay at a holiday inn express last night!"
