We thought it was bad enough when he picked someone who's never been a judge. The blogosphere and the boards would be SCREAMING if Bush would have picked someone who's never been to grad school!

According to every Karen Hughes bio I can find online, she's got a bachelor's degree from Southern Methodist University. That's it. And because she worked in television news before she went to work for the Bush boy, it's probably a degree in journalism.

If she's pissed at the Miers nomination, it's because Bush managed to find someone his base hates worse than we do.
