Edited on Tue Oct-04-05 07:08 PM by rndmprsn
he tried to assure his conservative base today that miers will not change her views 20 years from now, as proof he says "i just know it"...well we all stopped trusting that bastard years ago...and i dont think even his so called base takes him seriously...but anyhow...

how can he be so sure she won't change her views in the NEXT 20 years...BECUASE she HAS changed her views in the LAST 20 years...giving $ to al gore, the DNC, lloyd bentson and other TX democrats.

debunk this new talking point right away.

4. She isn't going to change her views.....whatever they are.
And by golly, of course, Bush hasn't any idea aside from the fact she thinks the court's job is to interpret the constitution. SURE it is. Twenty years and not a WORD about her beliefs relating to the issues.

Isn't it hilarious that Bush signals his toadies that he's got himself an Anti-Roe, pro-Fascist presidency vote and thinks that nobody else can see it?

6. gee, isn't that sort of admitting that she's biased and has her mind
made up, not open?

That was giving the game away Shrub.

Still, will ANY transgression of these clowns cause the American People
to finally rise up and say ENOUGH???

apparently not.

:scared:

8. You know...he left himself wide open on that I believe
He admitted she had "views".
Now that he has promised the American people that she wasn't going to change them....doesn't he now have to reveal HER views?
Legal folks?

His attempt to put theocracy in there and he believes she will carry it through. No wonder James Dobson likes her. She's one of "them".

11. Has * himself ever changed his views?
Edited on Tue Oct-04-05 07:28 PM by kskiska
Wasn't he a drunk for 40+ years, then changed his mind (or so he says)? Is it a bad thing to change one's mind? Anyone who says they think the same way they did 20 years ago is a liar.

Barry Goldwater changed.
