2. Jury Foreman confident with the indictment based on
the evidence presented. Just caught the tail end of it.

3. That was a good segment on Aaron Brown with Mr. Gibson just
then. I watched the whole thing. It was interesting to hear Mr. Gibson say that they asked Mr. DeLay to speak with the Grand Jury and he declined. (From what I read, both of DeLay's attnys the current one and the previous one advised him not to speak under oath.) I like Mr. Gibson, he seems like a fair man I appreciate his service and the service of the other 11 people on that first grand jury (also thanks to the other grand jury).

The segment also covered the history of this DeLay problem which at least two people indicated DeLay would NOT recover from politically speaking.

Also, there was a minute where Tom DeLay's attny DeGuerin (sp?) really looked like a fool IMHO. He said "Ronnie Earle had really embarrassed himself indicting Mr. DeLay, the Speaker of the House...blah blah" First of all Mr. DeGuerin Mr. Earle DID NOT INDICT DeLay the grand jury did. Second of all, I think the embarrassment falls squarely on DeLay. Nice try though.

4. Speaking under oath.
The Bushies learned their lessons well. Never take an oath to tell the truth, that way they can lie their behinds off.

6. When a real Bushie has to testify under oath, Dick Cheney can fill in

Just ask the 9/11 Commission.

Tom DeLay, you're no Bushie.

5. ROFL
Well I didn't see the segment but if that's what DeLay's attorney said then add a third thing to the list making him look like a fool -- DeLay wasn't the Speaker of the House, he was the Majority Leader.

I wonder what Denny Hastert thinks of that.

after I watched it to get it all down and I typed the wrong thing...I think (ie Speaker of the House). All the rest was what he said.

8. Earle's Got Some Goods Here...
This second set of indictments...the ones many thought DeLay escaped a couple weeks ago (and many thought he'd avoid any charges)...came in very quickly. Earle, seeing Guerrin might be able to have the conspiracy charge thrown on a technicality was able to enpanel a new Grand Jury, present the case and pertinent evidence and 5 hours later they passed out a new set of indictments.

This is two juries that saw illegalities and under different charges. Gurrein might have been two smart by half...as well as his half-ass client shooting off his mouth and trying to play martyr and do some jury nulification in the process. Earle, and it appears at least 24 Texans didn't buy weaseldick DeLay's "political vendetta" crap...and now it looks like a trial next year is very likely.

Instead of bugman possibly pleading nolo contendre on the single charge and possibly holding on to some of his power, he might have just ran himself not only out of the House, but into an orange jump suit for a while.
