Here, read this. A year ago a bunch of du'ers did some research and a paper was put together concerning "why" Plame might have been outed. Interesting reading, for sure.

I was on those threads a year and a half or so ago. I remember coming home from a 4th of July vacation and spending hours reading them all. I chimed in a couple of times but had a different handle back then. I changed my name after the election 04 when they gave everyone amnesty.

Those were some of the best threads ever on DU.

29. Wow Shraby that is a serious read and well worth the time.

I am speechless after reading it. I will say this. It seems that there was a bonus for some in outing Plame; not only did it retaliated against Wilson, it sever ly impacted the possibility of detection. Know what I mean?

an agent for Israel who has insinuated herself into either the DoD and/or the White House by being a shill for them.
I also think she is involved in the Franklin case up to her eyebrows, and if Fitzgerald can get her phone records he'll find she gave a heads up on the FBI raid of that charity.
She has been up to no good for quite a long time and if they checked her off shore or Swiss accounts, it has been pretty lucrative for her.

22. I cant find the original site where Armstrong or another CIA

agent had his head sliced off.You can google Plame/armstrong beheading
and see this guy lose his head.The guy I saw earlier this year was a man from the USA wearing a cardboard sign {said CIA] having his head chopped off unlike armstrong who has his head sliced off. Sorry if I

5. I'd like to know how the MSM handled Joe Wilson's article

about what he didn't find in Niger.

I was unable to access much news at the time, but I don't remember it hitting the media as a big shocker.

I vaguely remember sound bites from Bush's speech, and I thought wtf? when I heard him mention Saddam and Africa.

It's very frustrating to see so many online articles and blogs about Miller/Libby and wonder why this didn't explode long ago. Sometimes the MSM insiders seem like gossip columnists to me. "Insiders" just waiting for some pol to screw up and "us little folk" to find out what's been going on. They could have told us before.

9. Well it was in the MSM for a couple of weeks.

Then it all died down. There was the "bowels of the agency" remark from Rice. There was Tenet's mea culpa. Everyone disowning the 16 words. The talking heads on the news shows "Valerie Plame was a low level desk clerk."

Heated up again last summer. And of course this summer after the SC refused the appeals from Judith and Cooper.

it was so quiet i remember posting it over and over on aol message boards..and no one knew what we were talking about and of course the neo cons had their talking points to shut the story up..it never really saw too much light until sept ..so it went from july till sept..this white house had plenty of time to scrub the books and logs!!

it had many of us in dismay..we were screaming about it and sending mass mailings to the media..to no avail!!

It's difficult to get the exact timeline, but it really does appear that Judith Miller's decision to come forward came only hours after the news that Franklin was going to testify. Is that just coincidence? I don't think so.

Remember that much of Judith Miller's notoriety stems from the fact that she played up Ahmed Chalabi's lies about Iraqi WMD and Iraqi atrocities and turned them all into propaganda for war by successfully smearing it all on the front page of The New York Times. And Ahmed Chalabi of course was doing this at the behest of the Pentagon, answering to none other than our new witness for the prosecution, Lawrence Franklin. This is the same office that was connected to Cheney in the prevarication about Saddam shopping for yellow-cake and the subsequent attempt to cover it up by going after Joseph Wilson who, of course, had to be punished for writing that editorial, What I Didn't Find in Africa.
