the neo's hadn't taken over the republican party and pulled the country so horribly far to the right, destroyed our financial foundation, launched a war in Iraq, are now trying to create a far right's Supreme Court as well as pass laws that will make life and the possibility of correction of injustice via the legal system an impossibility for most of us, left New Orleaneans to die (something that I feel quite confident in predicting will never be seen on tv again because they'll ban the tv coverage), displayed absolutely no conscience or christianity, among many many other things.

As it is, some of us are tired and angry whenever we see democrats merrily chirping in harmony with the republican agenda. We're struggling to survive in BushWorld. We know we can't stop the republicans, but for some odd reason we think we should be able to stop the democrats from going along with them. We get angry and say it. We have perhaps, made the mistake of thinking that we still have a few shreds of freedom of speech left that enable us to dissent within our own party?
