FOX Caught Editing Factor Transcript (Again)

Once again we have clear proof the factor edits their transcripts, even though O'Reilly has said his show is never edited. Not only do they edit it, they have errors on the text of who said what. They have Clark saying something that O'Reilly said, and they remove text that makes O'Reilly look bad. The FOX transcript also left out a line from the General where he says he dont want US troops put in danger either.

----------------

FOX Transcript:

O'REILLY: General, you need to look at the Malmady (ph) massacre in World War II and the 82nd Airborne.

Newshounds Transcript:

O'REILLY: General, you need to look at the Malmedy Massacre in World War II and the 82nd Airborne who did it.

----------------

FOX Transcript:

O'REILLY: I agree with that, but I don't want to put our guys in the field in any more danger.

CLARK: Hellerstein is wrong.

Newshounds Transcript:

O'REILLY: I agree with that, but I don't want to put our guys in the field in any more danger.

CLARK: I certainly don't want to put them in danger, either.

O'REILLY: OK. Hellerstein is wrong.

----------------

The FOX transcript left out the part where O'Reilly says the 82nd Airborne who did it. The truth is the 82nd Airborne did not do it, the Germans did the Malmedy Massacre not the 82nd Airborne. And it has Clark saying Hellerstein is wrong, when O'Reilly said it, and they left out the part where the General says he dont want to put the troops in danger either.

So how can we believe anything from O'Reilly or the FOX transcripts when they are highly edited and full of errors. Their credibility just went to zero, it was already there by me and most people on the left, but now we have proof their credibility is zero.

2. He's obviously embarrassed about this and knows that Clark scored
points. Give him time and it will be called the O'Clark factor.

I just checked and as of 10:40 am on 10-5-05 FOX has not fixed the errors or corrected their transcript, even though they were told about them.

6. Of course they do
Why do you think ol' Blotchy Bill was featured so prominently on Franken's book about Lying Liars? O'Reilly isn't a pundit, he's not a source of informed opinion or knowledge. He's a clown, a court jester, a fool. If he'd lived 500 years ago, he'd have made his living wearing a coxcomb and wielding a Punchinello scepter.

That would be O'Reilly on the left. Except that unlike the Fool in King Lear, he never says anything even remotely perceptive.
