Poll question: How many "W '04" stickers are there in your area now? |
|
I used to see them everywhere. I even caught my neighbor putting one on his F-250 about a week _after_ the election. You know what I'm talking about. Those damn "W '04" stickers. Assuming a post-election high point of ostentatious display in late 2004/early 2005, how many W '04 stickers (relatively speaking) are you seeing in your area these days?

19. I kept my Kerry sticker on until the end of December... |
|
after that I saw no point in keeping it on my car...maybe the thugs had the same idea...either that or they are no longer proud of our distinguished leader.

A lot of the yellow ribbon support the troops decals though. And one woman who drives something like a RAV that has a huge flag and huge signs that state: "Freedom Isn't Free"
My mindset jerks into this whenever I see her "Well, Freedom is sure free for Some People. It certainly is free for those who get to spend their day doing little other than parading around the freeways inside their gas-guzzling road hogs proclaiming how much scarifice it all entails..."

Here in Georgia, those "W '04" stickers were EVERYWHERE before and after the election. The same for those "Bush Cheney '04" stickers. But recently I've been seeing a lot less of those. It's especially been a while since I've seen one on a gas-guzzling SUV or pickup truck.
On the other hand, I have been seeing a lot more of those "F The President" stickers! :D

stickers. Don't know what that means, exactly.

but I've seen some of both on cars here in NW Arkansas. The one that turned my stomach was the truck with Bush/Cheney stickers and a sign bragging about how many "kills" his son had made in Iraq.

I am in Little Rock - still see some, but number seems down from just a month or two ago. Isn't this about the time of year car prices are the best? (not that it matters to Bushie's rich supporters)

People can't afford to drive their SUV's as much. You don't see W stickers on many vehicles that get over 15 MPG. Suckers.

|
I live in the intown area of Atlanta and there are anti Bush stickers on thousands of cars. Then if you travel out I-285 (Beltway) I still see way to many W's on large SUV's, trucks and Hummers. I have a Social Workers Against Bush and a Fire Rove on my car.....Cheers...... www.seangettings.com

Check out the Georgia forum. We have ocassional meet ups at Manuels in Atlanta. Sometimes Mike Malloy and his family attend!
I live in Athens but work in a nearby red county. The bigger or more expensive the vehicle, the more likely it is to have a B-C sticker, a W sticker and/or a fish symbol.

but I am in southern Arizona which is one of those tiny islands of blue sanity when you look at the election results by county. Arizona is a big red state, but there is a nice solid block of blue in the southern tip.

and I live in a red, red suburb of Dallas where they were about as common as the SUVs that usually adorned them. I think it was right around when all the Rove/Plame stories were coming out that I began noticing them disappearing.

13. I think anyone who shills for the |

chimp on the back of a vehicle, ought to replace the W or chimp/cheney sticker with one that says "Another Clueless Moran."
And, yes, there are brainless idiots here in Southern California who still proclaim their own stupidity by displaying those stickers.

Virtually none where I work, which is very blue.
Although the other day I saw the FUNNIEST thing.. I passed a semi truck with block letters on the back that said:
GET RID OF THE LIARS - VOTE REPUBLICAN
   I thought maybe it was a joke until I saw the guy's face in the rear-view mirror as I was laughing hysterically
