I really don't think Bush is gonna last another 3 years
He just isn't showing the stomach for it anymore, he's not even trying to suck up to the radical right anymore..he's just blowing smoke left and right and EVERYONE knows it...except for the mentally dimwitted among us, even half witted people know Bush is just full of shit and is not looking up to the job as of late.

My biggest concern honestly is the fact that being that I am sure we will run a Democrat who is at least half capable and competent (which makes him/her 10 times more qualified than Bush or any repuke they will run) and when that Democrat wins he/she will inherit a MASSIVE slew of problems from the ongoing wars, worst deficit in history, horrible crime and poverty levels, economic crisis on every front, I mean you name it the problem will be there.

Then in the process of working towards solutions the Republicans will ONCE AGAIN blame all the problems on the Democrat when in fact the problems started with THEIR rule.

See how to this day they still blame Carter and Clinton for terrorism? Who was it that gave Pakistan $3.2 billion to give to "warriors of Jihad" and 300k stingers? (Raygun) who founded Centom? (Technically Carter) who had a comprehensive plan to fight Terrorism? (Clinton and Gore) who ignored it and was screaming "No War for Monica!" (Repukes)

So I know this has turned into more of a "forsight into the future" than a case being made for Bush not making it another three years, but I have no doubt whatsoever he is completely toast, he doesn't look like he has the sand to make it through this job another 3 minutes much less another 3 days.

Not to mention the jib is up with the sucker religious yahoos who have been buying into all of *'s Christian bullshit. We all know he used that to make the rubes come out and vote and it worked hook line and sinker, but that base is being lost rapidly as well because quite frankly I just don't think * even cares anymore he just wants to grab his stolen treasures and run away and it's clearly showing especially with his mind numbing press conference performance we saw yesterday.

So mark it here and now Bush will not last another 3 years. Bet on it.

~N~

12. That's the problem
If he makes it 14-1/2 more months, then Cheney gets in (assuming that he does stay), and then he's Constitutionally able to run for two more terms after that.

7. Reagan was a coward
Edited on Wed Oct-05-05 12:58 PM by Jara sang
He backed down and withdrew when the Marine Barracks in Lebanon were bombed. And he negotiated with the Iranians who took American hostages in Tehran. Reagan was a terrorist enabler.

17. Now, now all together "Ronnie, how great thou wert, how great thou art"
for this is what is being sung from every hamlet and village by the idolaters and worshipers.

His lackeys (republican voters) out there will always defend him and continue to prop him up.

14. I'll be frank! AND please consider my post seriously
But I'm beginning to wonder if we want to impeach him. I think he's already well on his way to being worse than lame. BUT I think if we work really hard starting now on the 06 elections and take over congress we can at least FINALLY NUETRALIZE Him!!! (AND we can blame the corruption in 08 by saying, "WE PROTECTED THE CITIZENS OF THE US FROM A CORRUPT OUT OF CONTROL ABUSIVE MAJORITY PARTY AND THEIR LEADER."

BUT if Cheney or Hastert or a repub. takes over, then we are stuck running against an incumbant and as everyone knows...incumbants have HUGE advantages over the media, the air time, tax dollars, airforce one, etc...

15. you have some very valid points, and I agree with you. the only way
we can spare ourselves cheney or similar, is to have the whole bloody lot of them in jail. but, the chances of THAT happening are. . .

16. better than you think...Don't forget Fitzgerald!
BUT then we'd have Hastert or some other neoCON--UNLESS (and maybe I'm wrong here...) BUT what if there came absolute proof--a whistleblower WITH EVIDENCE of the election fraud--then would Kerry be named instead as the person who had been rightfully elected? (ok..that's just a fond wish!)

18. This was their plan all along
Set fire to the economy, screw up all domestic programs, blow up our foreign policy, etc. so they can distract the inevitable Dem administration, blame them for Smirky's screwups, then come back in 8 years and do it all over again. Their agenda is so hideous, they know they could never get it passed, so they're getting us back to 1870 by simply destroying everything they don't like.

Remember, these are people who resent public education because it helps the poor, who despise all public benefit programs, and who would be perfectly happy to have child labor, the 72 hour work week, debtors' prisons and all the other lovely features of 1870 back.

19. Yeah, but the damage already done. Patriot Act. Treasury looted.
Supreme Court appointee(s). Faith Based Initiatives. "Drill More" energy policy. He may or may not last another 3 years, but it'll take years to recover from the damage he's already done.
