What's up with AAR's Philly station?
I used to listen to Randi during the evening commute on 1340 AM. This week it's been some local Philly show everyday. I checked the website for their list of stations and Philly is no longer listed. And this is after I went and joined their Associates Program!

1. I noticed that it listed 70 stations before and now with Chatanooga
it is still 70. That sucks.

3. That's good because...

...I couldn't stand trying to listen to it on 1040WHAT. Really shitty reception and the further you got into Randi's show the shittier the reception got. I hope they find another station soon.

4. I agree with you about the reception.
Sometimes it would be excellent and other times it would fade in and out or be obscured by static. It would be great if it was a good strong FM station. I've recently started a new job and I'm now commuting by train and so far my experience is that FM comes in much better than AM on the train.

5. It pisses me off because...
...the rightwing nuts that I pass on the dial while searching for AAR come in crystal clear. I hate that shit.

6. And they claim AAR gets bad ratings
As I've said before, it would be an interesting academic exercise (not that it fixes anything) to analyze the ratings on a listener-per-watt basis, since AAR stations tend to have suck wattage.
