Scum Sentinel poll needs DUing!!!!
Edited on Wed Oct-05-05 01:42 PM by LuCifer
The new U.S. bankruptcy law will force more people with average and above-average incomes to repay what they owe -- even if it takes many years -- instead of having the debts wiped out. Your opinion?

58.6%
Good idea. The old law encouraged people to be irresponsible about piling up debt. (1063 responses)

41.4%
Bad idea. People will spend their their lives paying off debts instead of getting a second chance. (752 responses)

5. Bad Idea!
Credit Card companies already assume a high percentage of defaults with their friggin' 18% interest. Hospitals already assume a high percentage of defaults charging 4.00 per bandaid and charging the uninsured twice the rate as the insured.

This bill just means more profits for credit card companies and other Corporate fuck-offs.

Edited on Wed Oct-05-05 02:04 PM by graywarrior
I saw a bankruptcy lawyer in September to prepare for filing before Oct 17.

Many dem senators voted in favor of the credit card companies when they voted this is. Fuck them.
