Plame Leak Case Indictments Pending

There are rumors in Washington DC that over a dozen indictments are going to come down as a result of the Plame leak investigation. This is a rumor and I would treat it as speculation. This number would not surprise me given the top secret document circulated on Air Force One. Many people were on that plane and saw that document that had no business seeing it.

Notice that Karl Rove has been absent since he was first revealed as a source by Matt Cooper. His usual place by the President has been vacant. Strange still is that Karl Rove was given responsibility over the Katrina cleanup. I wonder why the Bush Administration would give Karl Rove this responsibility if he is about to be indicted. Do they think he is going down anyway, so might as well give him a load of the burden of Katrina as well?

Something his lawyer can bring up at the time of sentencing to show that Rove has performed some service to society with redeeming value.
