live interview? The entire first portion of the interview was lost here! Twxas. Cox Cable... Anyone else? I'm furious. The only reason I tolerated viewing Tweety was to hear what Dean had to say, and it was cut off.

4. No. Dean was pretty good.

He let Tweey get away with a bit much re: "The Dean Scream," and his Bush playing "hide the salami" remark with Miers made me cringe, but overall, he did okay.

and he made Tweety back off and admit "yea, I know all about the technical mike stuff". I don't know what you wanted him to say? I think he did a great job with an apparent opposition interviewer!

I guess that was my point. I cringed and the "hide the salami" comment, only because I could see the crazy righties picking up on virtually anything to point to Dean as a nutbag. Do I think the comment was serious? Hell no. It just made me cringe.

As for the "technical mic stuff," I was pissed Tweety even brought it up, and Dean's "I think it was the media" response just sounded a tad paranoid. But Tweety didn't pursue it, and it was probably a wash either way. I personally think Dean should have slapped Tweety harder for bringing it up.

But then, I think anyone should slap Tweety for anything.
