The Dems on the Judicial Committee should take a new tact
The question for Miers is simple, "What makes you qualified to sit in judgement on the highest court in the land? Please list academic and written works that could indicate that you have even a shred of qualifications."

Tact is behaving politely. We don't want to do that in this instance.

She has been *'s personal attorney on several matters.

The question as to whether should would have to recuse herself in order not to have information that is not technically available to the rest of the court when the indictments and impeachments start, or just to remove the possibility of conflict of interest, is of great interest to all of us.

If she does have privileged info on any potential crimes, she needs to be reminded of the penalties for harboring criminals.
