Targeted questioning: a proposal
What if we made an effort to have volunteers attend these home forums and town meetings conducted by reps and senators when they go back to their district and have with them (could be more than one person) a list of questions to try to get responses to. For example, justify the excessive debt level they are willing to support in face of a war started on a lie. Once in a while, I'll read a thread here about some DUer who gave his/her rep/senator hell. But I think this needs to become a routine. So many of these guys feel they can do what they want with impunity because they have the impression that "most Americans" are okay with what they do. I believe that they base this impression, not on polls, but on the lack of strident feedback in their districts.

What do you think?
