I am a free Person. I have been aware of this fact ever since I was a teenage "outsider". I do not belong to anyone but myself, unlike some others I could suggest.

The only "group" I "belong" to is Democracy for America. I always maintain the right to walk away from anything around me, when I choose. People know this about me.

I am not a member of ANSWER nor am I a member of UFPJ. I like to work with Quakers, but I am not a member of the AFSC. I was raised Conservative Catholic, Labor Family, which I was raised to treat as though it is the center of my universe. I have two successful adult children. I used to teach high school. I'm a Sprint (technical writer in Broadband software development) layoff.

I don't go to "church" anymore, because I stand on street corners with a few hundred other people here in K.C. who make and hold their own signs. Traffic loves us.

If I have a "church" right now, it would be one without any walls.
