You all heard about this bill she wants to pass to ensure that only straight heterosexual christians married couples have the right to procreate. I just read this article and the first thing I thought of was this - Patricia Miller wants to be Aunt Lydia from "The Handmaid's Tale". If this law were to pass in Indiana, it would prohibit using any kind of medical assistance to help 'undesirables' from having babies. Single, unwed or Lesbian couples couldn't use invetro or other fertilization methods to have children. And even if they were married, background research would have to be done to ensure a happy married couple AND that the couple is involved in some sort of 'faith-based' program

The assessment would contain a description of the family lifestyle and automatically exclude lesbians. Women would also have to provide proof that they have participated in faith-based or church activities.I so want to send this woman a copy of "The Handmaid's Tale" because she's about to turn Indiania into the Republic of Gilead if she has her way
