Does anyone know the purpose of this speech? I just woke up and had my first Coke, so it's news to me...

And what about the indictments? Any news on when to expect them?

This is going to be a big news day. My birthday is this weekend...I'm hoping my gift comes two days early.

Bush warned of an upsurge in violence before Iraqis vote Oct. 15 on a new constitution. He said that insurgents ultimately will fail.

If * goes on TV this morning with a speech and Plamegate indictments come down later today, * can avoid having to go out face the press right way by claiming, "Ah already talked to y'all Thursday mornin'." That way he'll buy himself some time avoid addressing the issue directly for a couple of days ... and none of those pesky reporters can ask, "Are you gonna fire Rove NOW?"
