What Happened To The Picture Release?
I can't spell Abu Grahib but I can ask what happened to the second set of pictures from that hell hole. It was my understanding that the Judge ruled they must be released ..? Is that true? If so where are they?

1. The judge gave a 20-day stay for any appeals..
..I have not heard if the DoD is appealing yet, but I would be very surprised if they didn't...they will probably wait until the very last moment to file it though...

4. The government has 20 days to consider an appeal.
Here are quotes from the Judge on the release of the Abu Ghraib photos that I found significant, link below

"Our struggle to prevail must be without sacrificing the transparency and accountability of government and military officials," he added.

Judge Hellerstein said America "does not surrender to blackmail, and fear of blackmail is not a legally sufficient argument to prevent us from performing a statutory command."

7. I think they are down to the last shout
They don't have any real stall tactics left, the only time they ever succeed is with a total stonewall, once things leach into the courts they're done. They really don't get the fact that the government is not a clique of corporate ceos running a private business. I sincerely doubt if any one of them has ever considered what the duties and obligations of the offices they hold entail. It's all power grab, political favors and money grab for this crew. They truly are corporate raiders who have plundered the ship of state.
