The US MAJORITY see Iraq MY way (and the world's way)
IRAQ

More than half of Americans — 55 percent — think the U.S. should have stayed out of Iraq (the highest figure to date), while 41 percent think taking military action there was the right thing to do, and a growing number of Americans want U.S. troops out of Iraq as soon as possible. Now, 59 percent want U.S. troops to leave, up from 52 percent last month and 40 percent earlier this year.
Only 36 percent think troops should stay as long in Iraq as long it takes for that country to become stable.

U.S. TROOPS IN IRAQ SHOULD…

2. Many of us are vindicated, so how do we get this to happen?
I need a bunch of Dems to finally say they were wrong for agreeing to this war because they were fed lies, and now try to make it right. Like immediately!

3. I'm glad
I'm glad I had the moral courage and fortitude to oppose the war in 2003, and campaign against Bush in 2004 at the age of 20.

There is hope for our generation.

4. I can thankfully say I never supported the war.
I briefly thought about it back in 2001, but decided that it was a bad idea even right after 9/11. Then I became increasingly convinced that it was a horrible idea and gave two speeches in my school at the time about why we shouldn't go into Iraq. Most people said, "Oh we have to." The blood of the soldiers and civillians killed in Iraq is on the hands of every single person who either supported the war morally or voted for Bush.

6. Welcome to DU, Dave!
As far as I'm concerned, I don't care who anyone voted for in the past, as long as they are now aware of what we're up against.
I'm glad you are only 20 and here to get educated and enthused, as that to me is the pull of DU. Great minds....

5. I've been calling for immediate withdrawal since the beginning too....

Illegal invasion, immoral war, criminal occupation. Kinda hard to find the silver lining. Now if we can just find some leaders with the courage to face the truth about Iraq....
