I am getting an idea about the real reason for some Republicans are for ending the inheritance tax. Many of these people would not have any money if they had not inherited it from their parents. I read an article about Donald Trump on Wikipedia today. I had known before that he inherited money from his father, but I thought it was only a few hundred million. In actuality Trump's father was a multi-billionaire. So with all the times Donald Trump went bankrupt if he did not have his father's money he would be poor now. The same is true for Bush and some others.

1. Did Trump actually lose anything when he claimed bankruptcy? |

Any of the times? I bet he just lost debt. Of course we would be scorned for years after that. He just gets a tv show and new towers.

According to a recent article I read. Could you imagine how powerful the elitists would become if there were NO inheritance taxes? This is precisely why Jefferson advocated for inheritance taxes, to prevent an aristocracy.
