So it's casual Friday and I wore my New York City sweat shirt today |
|
As I walk in the receptionist sees me and says "New York City? I bet you're glad you're not there today."
In my pre-coffee state I responded "Huh?" And she says "Well, the new terror threats there."
That woke me up. "You don't believe that do you?" I asked
"Why wouldn't it be true?" she says.
"Because everytime Bush is in trouble, we have a terra alert."
To which she replied "Oh," and looked confused.

So many people completely oblivious... it is mind-boggling.

6. Actually, I've found her to be a very pleasant woman |
|
I haven't worked there long enough to know what her politics are. She was just in New York a couple months ago - but she must not like it as much as I do because, if I could afford it, nothing would keep me from making a visit.

I had completely missed that... Must be the rainy Friday that has me a little off. Good catch.
