Evacuees in leaky bare apts

60 evacuess were taken from Camp Gruber and put in apartments that are unheated, leak when it rains and have no furnishings. This evacuee was told Tulsa Urban League promised to help.

However the tulsa urban league says they did not promise to help and were going to get help form churches and other agencies to help. The red cross says the evacuees were placed prematurely and for help they should call the red cross.


UH can't someone goto the damn apartments and give these people the help they need? I'm sure they don't have phones if they don't have furniture or anything.
