i always hated it that he's called "Chimpie" because i think chimps are really nice animals, intelligent too. Hate to insult chimps like that.

Even Jane Goodall was shocked when a chimpanzee she had tracked for months instigated the total genocide of a nearby colony, for no reason other than to assert his TOTAL dominance. If that's not Bushian behavior, I don't know what is.

I've never seen a more Pan-Troglodytes-like person on this planet. He truly is a scientific curiosity--actual LIVING evidence for the existence of a missing link somewhere in our lineage between man and ape.


Bush's ONLY two motivators seem to be food and fighting. When he is aroused, he makes screeching noises but does not seem to say anything that any human can really understand. He vanishes for many days and only reappears at random times. He has a tendency to hang out in the woods. As an enthusiast of the local biological park, I have to admit that I've actually seen apes that are more "human" than Bush.

I feel guilty about it though. I once had the great good fortune to be a student assistant on an orangutan sign language project. Comparing Junior Bush to an ape is an insult to apes everywhere.
