11. Silver is a nutjob
I saw him on Bill Maher's RealTime some time back, and he was rabid in his pro-war, pro-Bush stance. He kept reading from some kind of freaky manifesto he'd prepared. Bill finally got fed up with him and pretty much told him to shut up.

I read somewhere online that Silver has been having trouble landing movie rolls because of his politics. I can't stand him and wouldn't watch a movie again with him in it even if I were paid to.

25. You're partly right
He did switch parties, but not to the GOP. He's now officially registered as an Independent.

5. Institute for Peace?
that must be some war connected agency I'd imagine since everything in the bush administration is backasswards. I thought the Slugs HATED these Hollywood types?
Must be two sets of rules for those "Hollywood types" as well, the Slugs have two sets of rules for everything. One for others and one for themselves because they certainly can't be held to th4 same standards as everyone else. :eyes:

9. Please no,
to think of all that talent we are all loosing as an actor, director, and a writer.

Why movies, t.v., and plays might as well shut down until "they" figure
out how to fill the void his departure will cause.

15. Um, I don't think of Ron Silver when I think of peace...
Hasn't he been vocally, very pro war?

Well, I guess while the boy king is giving out positions like candy, Ron may as well satisfy his sweet tooth, too.

...finally, he'll be employed. Maybe now we won't have to ever see him in film again!

30. I'll join you at that protest.
I'm hoping it doesn't come to that, though. Hopefully, no one would ever cast him in anything else EVER.

I've made the same promise in the event Schwarzennegger decides to come out of his movie career retirement to make a new flick. I'll be the first one there to protest!

Maybe they'll get Patricia Heaton to replace Greenspan. She's going to need a paycheck now that her wretched sitcom has finally run its course. Those Albertson's commercials won't last forever.
