Like father like son - Bush senior picked Dan Quail (sp) to be his VP and
now Bush junior has picked Harriet for SCOTUS. Both are stupid decisions that show both men as not very intelligent themselves. I thought junior always tried to outdo his father. Now it seems they have a lot in common.

1. Quayle was a warm-up for Junior
GHWB never expected to lose the election. They had the long-term world domination plan, but not the means to steal nationwide elections yet. They assumed his "successful" warring would lead to two terms and glorious victory, at which point W would be slid in. W wouldn't seem so bad after eight years of Quayle.

Of course, then Bill Clinton came along and mucked up the works.

We all know what happens next.

3. Poppy screwed up the domestic stuff too! I remember when
Poppy's 3's were in the 90's, and even the people I wsorked with at the time said, "oh God, you think anyone can beat this guy with his ratings in the 90's?" That was just after Schrtzkoff did a supurb job getting Iraq out of Kuwait. Well, Poppy got real comfortable with those ratings, and things started to go south in the US, and he ignored it!

This is a replay of that story folks!

The advantage we have this time, is that Shrub has a lot more scandals dropping on him than Poppy did.

2. 2 wars, 2 terms, who you calling Junior?
Little Bush has the worst penis envy to ever hit D.C. What I find funny is the sound of a homophobe with penis envy. I am sure there is a joke in there somewhere.

Speaking of jokes, this one is quite tasteless but oh so true.

Q: Where does Bush stand on Roe v. Wade?
A: He does not care how people get out of New Orleans.

4. How about the one I heard on "Prairie..."
Harriet Miers was the best pick Bush could make - of someone already on the payroll.
She's a concern for conservatives - it seems she published some of her opinions on recycled paper.
She was the first president of the Texas state bar - she signed the declaration of Texas sessession.
