Ownership society : You're on your own !
Don't expect the government to help you. If your house and your loved ones get blown away by a hurricane, don't expect the government to step in and help you, you are on your own. If you are still living in a tent and the weather is getting too cold for the children, the government has no responsibility, you are on your own. Now, do you know what Bush is talking about when he talks about the "Ownership Society"?

2. But the govt has no reluctance to take your taxes
and then call you a low life if you need help.

3. Yep, not once in almost 1/2 century has the gov helped me out...
As a matter of fact, most of the time they seem to go out of their way to make my simple existence as painful as possible. But in spite of all that, I seem to be doing just fine.

4. I'm about ready to say "F&*% IT!" and have them sell us back to France
You know what - if Bush and his Bushbot Repuke leaders don't want Louisiana because we're too much of a burden - our people are too whiny - we ask for too much and don't appreciate anything - or the myriad of other stupid reasons they give for knocking Louisiana and the people here, here's an idea: Sell us back to France. I'll gladly renounce my US citizenship and live in "North American France". Maybe then we'll get our thousands of National Guard people back home from Iraq...we'll need them to protect our borders. Oh and by the way Commander Bunnypants - we're keeping all of the oil we drill off our shores. Screw you and the elephant you came in on.

6. But if you're a corporation, the Treasury serves drinks while stuffing ...
... your wallet.

7. "Ownership society" means owners and owned
I like to call it Virtual Slavery, but it relly is a modification of the sharecropper model.

We aren't there yet, but we are rushing headlong towards it, and to other Third World ignominies.

8. In Bush's Ownership society, he means they OWN you
The ownership society, but who owns who? The bank owns you. The insurance company owns you. The govt. owns you.

9. Well yeah.
Republicans have spent the past 25 years destroying the gov't so why would anybody still expect anything from it?
