Don’t be alarmed…
unless WE alarm you.
W is manic there’s no need to panic perhaps
he’s even satanic.

No worry though,
keep on keeping on;
go to work and pay,
don’t look this way,
just shop and play, shop and play.
You must go on with your own lives.


Don’t too many rise up, don’t put yourselves out -
oh bother it is to stand up and shout.
You must go on with your own lives;
nevermind that your America dies.

1. An American Resident

So, you think you have a President
America.

I say you only have a Resident
who has stolen your big White House like a squatter.
Siezed it for his own purpose
at your expense,
America
is paying in blood and jobs
and deficit
in division and anger;
in terror domestic and abroad
her soiled reputation horribly bent and twisted
for the whole wide world to see,
an ugly unbecoming sight to me and to many.

America
grabbed up in a hostile takeover
by CORPORATIONS and the insiders the GOP who
partnered in this evil conspiracy.

2. America, How Did It Come To This

America, How Did It Come To This

Corporate America
ruling
with money
buying politicians and selling out people.

A Nation hijacked with fear,
hidden truth and
buried secrets,
equal death, slavery and unhappiness for all
no matter what the sacred Document says;
bitter feuds,
APATHY
DENIAL
and subterfuge.

Corporations thriving while America is dying
and Americans barely breathing struggle to survive
hanging on to the rocky cliff with their fingernails
waiting for rescue
from this madness, such sheer insanity.
